I’m Naz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina, and as an African-American clinician, I understand how identity, generational experiences, and systemic challenges shape mental well-being. I believe therapy should be a safe and affirming space—where you don’t have to explain or justify your experiences, but instead, feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

I take a relational approach to therapy, meaning I believe healing happens through connection. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped you while building tools to create meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy to help clients process emotions, improve communication, and foster more secure relationships. I also tailor techniques to best fit each client’s unique needs because therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. If you’re ready to start your journey—or even just curious about what therapy could look like for you— Reach out today, and let’s take that next step together.

I a native of Eastern North Carolina. I earned my B.S. from the University of Mount Olive and went on to complete my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.

My journey in mental health began during my undergraduate years when I worked as a direct support professional, assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This experience deepened my passion for working with caregivers and neurodivergent individuals, highlighting the importance of external support during challenging times.

In my practice, I tailor therapy sessions to meet each person's unique needs, using approaches such as CBT, DBT, person-centered, and strengths-based therapy. I also incorporate expressive arts, animal-assisted modalities, and walk-and-talk therapy.

I understand that finding the right therapist can be daunting, but my goal is to provide a completely judgment-free space where you feel heard, seen, and safe. If you're interested in starting your journey, please reach out. I look forward to meeting you and helping you take the first step toward healing.
